The Annihilation Room is an unsettling, immersive space that uses Southern Gothic themes to interrogate surveillance technology, police violence, and artificial intelligence. On display are large-format documentary photographs, taken during anti-ICE protests, of riot police with body cameras. The room integrates its own cameras, turned on the viewer, who can see themselves captured by AI, creating layers of observation.
