Spy Blimp

In the skies over the lower Florida Keys, a spy blimp (or sometimes two!) is always keeping watch. First deployed in the 80s, the blimp scans for boats and planes that may be carrying drugs or people into the US through the Straits of Florida. 

This surveillance art project is a typographical exploration of the blimp and the sky, contrasting the natural beauty of the Keys - especially the famous sunsets - with the omnipresent surveillance system.
